Tadger Launches in Bahamas - Jan. 9, 2007
The Tadger was officially launched in Nassau, Bahamas with the very first Tadger being installed on December 6th, 2006.
The launch of the product in Nassau that week also included a formal presentation of the Tadger’s emission and fuel saving benefits to the Ministry of the Environment, the Bahamas Environment, Science and Technology (BEST) Commission, whose primary role is to advise The Bahamas Government on environmental matters. The product was received favorably by all representatives from these groups.
The official launch meeting was lead by EnviroTek’s Gord Bretsen, Donna Thomas and Dennis Dames (Nassau Account Representative). Reducing emissions in marine and motor vehicles has been identified as a key issue for Bahamians and government bodies in Nassau.
The Tadger will work toward helping Bahamians meet their Kyoto Accord criteria and will also save many locals money on their extremely high imported fuel costs.
